Jill is a young mama who, diagnosed with breast cancer, is in the midst of her second round of chemo on her journey to survival. Jill, with her infectious smile, is beautiful. As the world measures beauty, Jill ranks high with her gorgeous blonde hair, her sparkling eyes and her tall, lean figure. My hair was falling out so much that we, as a family, decided it was time to take it all off. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I did repeat several times, "She is clothed with strength
and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." Prov. 31:25Her beauty runs deep into her soul. Nothing in or of this world can take her beauty away. I read her words and Proverbs 31:28 came to mind. “Her children arise up, and call her blessed….” These two little girls are learning, not from words, but by example what it means to be a woman of God, clothed in His beauty.
Last week she wrote,
I haven't been sleeping well. Prayers for a deep, restful sleep are welcome. I've also been thinking about how God is thinking about me. He hates cancer and pain more than any of us. He is thinking of how He loves me and how He hates seeing me not 100%. I bet He is enjoying the sunshine and beautiful day even more than I do...He should...He created beauty and I got to walk 5 blocks outside in that beautiful sunshine
Makes me ask myself, "How deep is your beauty? A bit shallow and superficial? Will it last for eternity?"
.....................Jill, I thank my God for you and your words. We love you!

A remarkable young woman. God bless her.
